Just a little different

I Love this new take on the guest book.  I found this in a Martha Stewart Weddings magazine.  It's so easy too, you just download from her website and print.  It's a little modern and a little vintage, which goes with our theme perfectly.

Prepare for the Unexpected!

Just as I settled into the relaxed, "I've got it all together" mood, our wedding plans went into overdrive.  My amazing brother will be joining the Navy Seals, and he leaves in the fall of this year.  It didn't take me long to figure out that his training timeline overlapped our wedding.  Anyone who knows me well, knows that my brother is like my best friend and he's also my Man of Honor.  He's the one that's suppose to stand beside me during the ceremony, and the thought of him not being there was just too much to bear.  So...we are now planning our wedding in 4 months, and our new date is July 2, 2011.  Our vendors have been so understanding and flexible, and have graciously moved everything for us.  There aren't too many changes to the original plan, except that our guest list is much smaller.  All frills aside, what's most important to us is that our families be present on the most beautiful day of our lives.
